We recently asked one of the professional sales associates at Anna Maria Island Accommodations what percentage of guests ask for a pool home and what percentage of guest ask for a gulf front vacation rental. The majority of guests ask for a pool home, I was told about 85% ask for a home with a pool. I would of thought that was a bit on the high side before we moved to Anna Maria but not now since I live here. I figured that being close to the beach would be perfect to cool off in the summer or on any hot day and one didn't really require a home with a pool.
